Vernon Bagley has more than 35 years experience in a wide variety of businesses in both the public and private sectors. His activities have ranged from sales and marketing positions to the development and managing the day-to-day operations of his own companies. He is the founder of Military Families Foundation, Inc., the parent organization of Project We Remember. He is also the founder and a member of the board of Military Family LifeStyle Charitable Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization devoted to funding of college grants for the children of service men and women who have lost their lives during the fight against terrorism.
A distinguished war veteran, in 1968 Mr. Bagley was the recipient of two Bronze Star medals, with “V” devise for Valor, two Purple Heart medals, the Vietnamese Gallantry Cross with Gold Star, Combat Infantrymans Badge, plus various other awards. After completing his tour of duty in Vietnam, he was selected as one of seven officers and senior non-commissioned officers assigned to the Department of the Army’s National Speakers Program, where he provided information on the Army’s role in the Vietnam conflict to civic organizations, schools and spoke on television and radio station talk shows in California.
Mr. Bagley attended Northeast Missouri State University, where he studied for his degree in Business Administration before leaving in his last semester to join the United States Army.
